Nope, absolutely not. I have three on my broadband and sometimes five or six when family visits with wireless laptops. If you're running a router you're fine. All they are doing is providing you with an IP address and a specific bandwidth. What you do with it and how many computers that are connected to it is your business.

sure a router is the answer. you've a decision of stressed connections, i.e. ethernet, or on the spot. If the different pcs are close by then the stressed decision is by some distance the perfect. If, as an celebration, they're spread around the abode then on the spot is nice. it truly is nicely worth noting that a good number of strong high quality on the spot routers have a 4 port change integrated so that you'll get the finest of both worlds. the great thing about the router is that it determines the direction of the information and 'routes' it contained in the right route. to boot to, your internet connection is continually energetic and travelling travellers can connect their computer as consequently of way of typing on your password.

We've got 6 computers hooked up to our broadband and they haven't said anything against us. We also have the capability of logging on more if some of our friends come for a WoW party and bring their computers with.

I have heard that some providers wont allow this but I have yet to run into one! You pay for a certain amount of bandwidth and its neither here nor there how many PCs you divide it up between!

depends on who ur ISP is... if it's Sify or Reliance or some big company... then they'll find out using ur IP addresses. u can't have more than one IP address at a time
if it's a local provider... then... i don't think there will be a problem...
