on the sims 2 is there a cheat to be able to move staricases if it says you can't move them?

moveobjects on doesn't help and its annoying when you can't move staircases

No there is no cheat for that.

You should be able to move them in buy mode with out any trouble.

Well there could be a parameter cheat ... I think its best to go to either http://www.cheatcc.com or http://www.gamefaqs.com and look it up there.
