Ever since the car accident, i fractured my hip and i now have arthridis, when i am on my period my whole hips and thighs hurt plus cramps go on. it hurts so bad, why?

I would think that it is because the female reproductive system is primarily housed in the pelvic region. PMS creates pressures in the abdomen, whoch push on your pelvis...and that probably aggrivates your arthritis.

Talk to a Doctor to see if there is anything you can do about it.

During PMS our hips tend to split open just a little so it is normal for the pain. just take Tylenol Arthritis but not be for consulting a doctor.

It's because during pms the body releases hormones that loosen joints--especially the pelvic joints. this is usually in preparation for child birth but it happens to a small extent each month.
