Ya know, it is just hard to beat WalMart in the USA for this kind of stuff. I am sure you will find just the cheap kind of junk you want at the nearest WalMart.

Sams has the clear plastic dinnerware. Walmart had the clear plastic dinnerware with the scrolled etching for Christmas, you may be able to find it now on clearance for a cheap price.

I can't tell if you mean for a one-time occasion, or for long-term use. For longer-term use, Target generally has decent and trendy melamine plates, cups, and so forth.

Costco (must be a member) has silver-colored plastic forks and spoons that look like silverware. Party City, if you have one in your area, usually has a large variety of serving dishes, plates, and plasticware. Or it's online: http://www.partycity.com/

ikea had some cool coloured ones before.. but im not sure they still do. if not try cvs
