I'm a natural pack-rat, but I need to get rid of all the empty prescription pill bottles that have been piling up. Is there anything better than just pitching them in the trash?

I shoot pool, so I use them to put quarters in also they are nice to carry tooth picks in and keep in the glove compartment of your car. Also nice for storing small amounts of nuts and bolts and screws and nails so you will have them handy in the house. Just keep what you need of the bottles and pitch the rest.

I use one to hold a small assortments of nuts, bolts and fasteners in the tool kit of my motorcycle. I also wrapped a couple of feet of electrical tape around the outside - it comes back off just like a roll, and doesn't take up any space.

LOL -- you may be sorry you asked this.

I use them for holding urine samples for my dogs. If the Vet wants a urine sample, I collect it in a bowl (funny as hell seeing me chase the dogs around with a bowl to catch their pee) and then pour it into the thoroughly cleaned out pill container. The child-proof lid ensures it won't spill when I stash it in my purse!

Use them to hold coins for laundry. Or use them to keep your AAA and AA batteries dry. Or you can clean them THOROUGHLY and then fill them up with M&Ms and while you're in public pull out the bottle, make sure people are watching you, and then down the whole thing.

Have fun.

to retort Sarabmw's answer, that's wasteful. Didn't you know that?

I know some folks use the bottles to keep Holy Water in their house, Religous folks I mean.
