Cavemen existed. There are cave paintings throughout western Europe proving that they were there. I don't see any proof of Adam and Eve or Noah, though.

Descendants of Noah. Before the flood there would have been no karst regions and thus no caves. Caves are formed by water draining off. (Sorry Adam you was stuck with only a garden to sleep in!). Neandertals lived in caves mostly around the Rock of Gibraltar, but have been found around Europe, even Israel.
