If it's something that cannot or will not change, than I convince myself that it's time for another plan (plan B). I then focus my energy on making a new plan and think about how and what I need to do to make it happen. Then I make it a reality.
Spend your time and energy on things that you can change and forget about the things you can't. Keep your head up - it's the only way you can see what's in front of you !!!!
Keep pushing ahead and best wishes !

I ask the Lord what He is trying to teach me, or I ask Him if I somehow missed His plan, or what glory He is trying to get from my situation, or if He was allowing the enemy a brief, but temporary victory so that I will become strong enough to withstand and resist the next attack.

There have been a number of times in my life when I was forced to change careers, face certain difficult crises and have friends and relatives desert me in the time of trouble. There are several times when I should be dead, but He stepped in and saved me from harm. Many times these were so I could learn how to minister as one who had gone through what someone else had in his/her life when I was asked by the person for help. Sometimes it was all just for my own personal faith to grow so I could trust Jesus later when other things would happen that were more serious than the present item I was dealing with.

In all things, I pray when they go wrong, though the best thing is to pray before they go wrong to maybe prevent them from going wrong. The Bible says, "Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivers them from them all". Sooner or later everything eventually works out even if it does go wrong. At the end of the Bible, it says Jesus wins after He returns to defeat Satan, creating a new Heaven and new Earth without sin or evil, where He will reign forever with His rescued, redeemed, believers for whom He died and rose again.

Adjust and deal with the situation... That's all you really can do... Sometimes it's easy, other times not so easy... Sometimes there's real hurt involved and that's the true test for your ability to handle what you weren't expecting...

Start apologizing, explain how you wanted things to go, see if you can start over again.
