While Bush wants to escalate the war and send thousands more troops into Iraq indefinitely, the Democrats would rather talk about lobbying reform than stand up to him.

Cindy Sheehan and company reminded them that America elected them to stop the war. Do you think they will get the message?

Cindy Sheehan has courage. We need that in America. We have far to many now that enjoy sending others to Iraq to fight and die while they stay home. I am all for reform in ethics, stop the bribes.
Impeachment of Bush and Cheney is the only course of action for the Democrats. Bush will veto anything good for America and good for the working class people who voted for Democrats.

Politics if funny that way. I don't like Cindy Sheehan but we are on the same side of this issue. We DID elect the Democrats to stop the war, since they had so much to say about it before the election. Instead, they immediately signaled that their priority was to raise the minimum wage. For who are they raising the minimum wage might I ask? The young folks are being sent to war where their wages are set by the military.

The Dems other interest is lobbying reform as a means of highlighting Republican corruption so they can get the White House back and continue with their own corruption. That too has nothing to do with the war.

Since Sheehan is rather ineffective, and will now be stepped on by her old friends, no one is going to get the message from her. The rest of us have to say something.

I think it was wonderful. Not because I support Sheehan or agree with her, but because it was nice to see the Democrats on the receiving end of the harrassment from the left-wing moonbats for a change.

the element approximately Ciny Sheehan is that she is devastated through her son's dying and isn't any longer continuously the main purpose individual the place concerns of the conflict are in touch. I surely experience her discomfort. As a mom myself i could experience the two undesirable and do each and everything in my potential to genuine the area this is what she is attempting to do. Who desires to experience that their childs dying grew to become into the end results of greed and avarice? this is the way she feels no count number if we believe or no longer. yet only watching her you will discover that the only element retaining her upright is her anger over this conflict. right it somewhat is a woman who in no way even had lots as a site visitors value ticket in the previous her son's dying and how many situations has she been arrested? i think of she merits our prayers no longer our ridicule. i desire she unearths peace in her life and that i desire our usa does too.

Yes I am glad, I am a democrat and agreed with her protesting George Bush because of her beliefs that the war is wrong. I think she is the conscious of America and a figurehead in that movement. She has every right to protest anybody she wants. This is America and is why people have died protecting our freedoms and one of those is to protest the direction that the country is going in. The democrats need to be reminded why they were elected back into the majority.

I guess I feel satisfied to see that Sheehan is consistent, if nothing else.

It highlights the problem the Democrats will have - trying to govern responsibly while not betraying a substantial portion of their base.

Can they do it? Time will tell.

Although I don't agree with every statment she makes , I do respect her strong beliefs and her tenasious ability to get her message out. Any person , public or private that stands up to the government in a peaceful manor and states their dismay with policy as usual topics is a hero for all Americans to be proud of. Like I said I do not agree with much of what she says , but she is certainly to be respected.

do you think a grieving mother has more ability and knowledge than the elected officials that live and breath world and continental politics on a daily basis? Or does the hate for a man with an R next to his name guise that fact?

Your Dems want to draft you and send you to fight. Enjoy the show, I sure am.

Sent Rangel a 20 dollar donation in my brothers name to egg him on to get a draft going.

I actually hope so. Now that the Dems are in control, they can't pretend like the war isn't the main issue for why they are now in power. One thing I can say, no Dem is going to vote to cut funding. I'm not sure that's even smart. But is is time to start exercising Congressional oversight.
