didnt know you was....I grew up in Waipahu Hawaii one of the most filipino populated towns and havent gotten this memo so I am a little behind...

i'm filipino and my boyfriend is portuguese and he says because we are ethnocentric. it doesn't really bother me but i feel that the majority of filipinos these days act it. i was watching tfc with my mom the other day and after watching a few commercials i felt like do they really put this s*** on television? filipino tv need a lot of things to think about. they follow american television of individualism so both go hand in hand. what people don't know is that their programs desensitize their viewers to have that excess ethnocentric personality that every other race despises. i find that a lot of cultural tv does that to people not just filipinos. anyways thats just my input.
