I see alot of girls my age mid-20s that start developing a baby fetish once they see everyone around them having kids. So sometimes I wonder if people have kids due to a sheep persona or just wanting to fit in instead of biological urge.

as a woman just past mid-20's, i want a baby. not because everyone else is doing it, if that were the case i would have had kids when my friends did (very early 20's). but i actually want the experience of bringing a new life into the world & being a mother, and i feel that now i'm out of college & started my career, in a good relationship, it's a good time. it's more of a spiritual urge for me, i think.

I'm sure there are girls out there who want to have babies because "everyone else is doing it." But I think that the majority of girls get pregnant because they want a baby with the man they love (or think they love) I speak from experience when I say that nothing is more exciting than looking at your own little monster and playing "Match the Feature" (I think my son has my eyes, my hubby thinks the boy has his eyes.) Unfortunately, too many young girls are rushing into motherhood and the only one suffering is the child (and the poor sap who got suckered into fatherhood!)

that depends on childhood experiences, kind of family, mom and dad behavior towards parenting and family. Usually a woman will have a tendency to want babies if they had good childhood experiences and relationships with parents. But they can wait to have babies if feel their professional achievement should come first.
I have also seen several women wanting to have children as soon as their friends get pregnant or have babies. It is like having a baby doll the other wants to have.

All of the above. Let's face people have babies for different reasons. However, usually a woman doesn' t start worrying about her biological clock ticking until she's in her 30's.

For both reasons don't you watch the Maury P show the generation today is out of wack. they don't know what they want they have so much offered to them now days that they don't know what's going on. Sad but true it start in the home when they have to raise them selves and looking for love that they are not getting.

If I ever had kids, it would have to be due to conformity. Motherhood is the last thing I need in the world.

some are for a free living welfare, some because they really want to have kids, some because is social you name it to many reazon like to see if having a kid the boyfriend or husband won't leave them, etc too many reazons, Myself I always wanted to a single mom of a boy and a girl I have them I always dream to have my kids...I love kids I will be adopting more eventually I like the idea to have a lots kids....

i think they are stupid....rich ppl like britney and angelina have kids bec they are so rich n have nothing to do...its like a new toy....
its really not wise to have babies in 20s
