I couldn't agree more. Decades ago, when I was a teenager, this kind of "news" would have been unthinkable on national television. Junk like this makes us uninformed, isolated and insulated, lazy and complacent.

People have such boring lives, they need to consume themselves with someone elses. It's sad really. The media and paparazzi want you to believe that these people are "special" because they will do anything for money. Funny, but when I look that definition up, I find that it is the same as being a prostitute. I thought that was illegal. Guess it really doesn't matter so long as superficial idiots think those people are so "superior". GOD did say not to worship any other than GOD. Guess this is what false idols look like. Thank you and GOD bless.

I admire the work of actors and singers and comics but I could not care less what they think about politics or social issues. Probably the loudest mouth in celebrity world is Rosie O'Donnell who has no education. thats right, not even high school and yet uses her position to scream her views on everything. She is the most uninformed and the loudest and you can go on to other celebs. If you wait for Streisand or DeVito to tell you what you should think then you are the dumbest of the dumb.

I do not care at all. As a matter of fact, whether i'm reading or watching the news, I especially don't want to see such drivel. Shows like Access or channels like E! are the same as Judge Judy and Springer-just plain trailer!

Stop watching TV. Get your information from categories on, say, Google News or the Christian Science Monitor (which is not Christian, but was founded with money from the CS founder and is required to keep its name to keep the money - some of the best reporting out there.) Also the BBC is a good source for world news.

To be honest there are a few celebrities that I care about.....to a certain degree.
I don't dwell on them but when they have a new artistic endeavor, or get married, have children, or die I'm interested.
I don't consider the people you mentioned as celebrities...I think of them as attention-grabbers....and I don't care at all about them.

we are obsessed on celebrities with the aid of fact it provides us human beings to envy and hate. Or somebody to look as much as. I advise while celebrities do something incorrect they are continuously dealt with like crap through lots of people who do no longer understand them. in my opinion i ought to care much less approximately particular celebrities yet we are in no place to choose them.
