I heard our wonderful government pass a law making it legal for authorities to go through our mail. Is this true??

Only if there is a suspicious envelope/package that they believe might be a security risk...If they get pieces of mail from Afghanistan, Iraq, North Korea, etc..., yes, I believe they would open it...and I believe that is just as well considering the freedom of America was compromised on Sept. 11, 2001...They don't open every piece of mail that comes through the post office...There is a little right to privacy law that they have to uphold...

No, are you trying to start another rumor? Give me a good example why the government would want to go through someone's mail? Are you getting anything in the mail that would interest them?

yes mail and e-mail and soon they will be able to get your internet history so they know everything you do on the internet this is called freedom?soon you will have to keep track of when you go to the bathroom so they know that too (joking on that one i hope)
