The US should stay there until the Iraqi Government and its own security forces and police can run the country. The US correctly went to Iraq to sort it out and now must stay until its finished the job. A bit of help from the United Nations would help but that is just expecting too much. A strong democratic Iraq would help to keep the Iranians in check

I am not sure how long the Iraq government needs, in order to gain trust from their people and have any sort of control. I do know that we have lost Many beautiful young men and women for this cause. And just to pack up and leave would not show respect to those who have lost their lives, who have been injured, nor to the families.

They need to pull everyone out of there now and let that country start to take care of itself. There comes a time when enough is enough. You can only beat a dead horse for so long. Bush needs to pull his head out of his **** and start listening to his fellow countrymen. We don't need another Vietnam.

They should have been home already. It doesn't make sense to me to have our men and women over there when it's so obvious that the people there despise us and don't want our help. A lot of the soldiers that have died so far have been killed by civilians. They should just bring them all home.

I've given up on analyzing that stuff....... If they are, in fact, keeping us safe here, then I guess they should stay,if they are there trying to keep the Iraqi's safe, then they should probably be home.

We shouldn't have been there in the first place and I think they should be home right now.

They should keep them there until they clean up the mess instead of leaving the clean-up to other countries.
