Sure, Bush wrote it! Bush hasn't written a thing since he has been in office! Someone wrote it for him!
Someone should tell him they were elected BECAUSE most Americans do not support his policy's and watching 110 body bags a month for 5 years returning to the US! If people continue to follow Bush's policy's they will follow the ex-Senators and Congressman out of office!
Stay the course! I think we have tried that! That is about the same as "Trickle Down" economics!
We DON'T WANT HIS POLICIES!

Do you really think GW Bush did the write. He is the decider you know. He just can't decide what to do in Iraq. He has a plan but it's still in the works.
" I have never said that Iraq was responsible for Sept. 11th.", GW BUSH
"Our priorities begin with defeating the terrorists who killed thousands of innocent Americans on September 11, 2001--and who are working hard to attack us again. These terrorists are part of a broader extremist movement that is now doing everything it can to defeat us in Iraq."
There you go again, you try to connect Iraq and Sept. 11th.
No President in the History of America has given less press conferences than GW Bush, he holds none because he will not or can not answer questions.

Probably all. Ben Franklin did--in a newspaper he started. Washington did to try to stop Hamilton from starting the FED. Lincoln did much more often than Bush.
If something is on his mind and feels it needs to be said, he has as much right as anyone else to be heard.
What kills me is the same president tries to give a speech and one cable network carries it. Oprah or Trump have something to say and every station in the WORLD carries it.
The reason for our collective ignorance is not presidents who write occasional essays...

I don't know the answer to your question but I sincerely doubt that Bush wrote that.
And isn't it ironic that the "signing statement president" is now reaching out for bipartisanship?
One quote of interest; "Our priorities begin with defeating the terrorists who killed thousands of innocent Americans on September 11, 2001--and who are working hard to attack us again. These terrorists are part of a broader extremist movement that is now doing everything it can to defeat us in Iraq."
He's still pushing that same tired old alarmist bs.

None, that I am aware of. Thanks George, for putting out a message to inform America other than in TV, as some of us READ, rather than watch liberal controlled TV. I knew I was RIGHT when I voted for you! Good thinking!
PS. Almost all president's write their own speech's, so to say Mr. Bush didn't write this article, is baseless, and without proof.

I don't know, but I think most Americans are still wondering why Bush couldn't get anything done with a Republican majority in Congress. Yet already he is accusing the Democrats of "stalemate"?
