What a glorious game this was!!! Once again the wimpy Notre Dame team which was overated, overhyped, and undertalented ALL YEAR got their butts handed to them in a bowl game!!! 9 bowl losses in a row for the overhyped Irish now. . . breaking their own record of 8 straight losses!!! Maybe if Notre Dame was treated like everyone else they wouldn't keep getting POUNDED in bowl games they have no REASON to be in!!! The best thing is I bet the farm and house on LSU and made BIG BUCKS BABY!!!! God bless Notre Dame for sucking so much as they keep making me easy money!!!! Whoooo Hooooo!!! Talk about an easy bet!!!! Brady Quinn was only the THIRD best quarterback in the game last night. . . Jamarcus RUssell proved he was better in every single way. . . his backup was also better than Brady my middle name is hype Quinn!!! Great Job BCS and SUgar Bowl committees. . . you sure set up a great game again by inviting the undeserving Irish!!!! LSU was paid to keep it close in the first.

It would have been more awesome had it been unexpected, but you knew going into this game they were going to get slaughtered. That game had fugly written all over it from the get-go; Notre Dame was just lucky to be close at halftime, and then LSU just annihilated them in the second half.

It probably would have been a better game to see LSU play Navy (9-3). Sure, Navy lost to Boston College (by _one_ point) but they've been able to produce winning teams the last few years despite the inability to attract NFL talent. Besides that, when was the last time a US military academy played in a major bowl game? With all the talk of "support the troops", why not let a good Navy team play in one? This team had a tougher schedule than the 10-2 team from 2004.
Speaking of LSU, I think they still have a shot at the title. If Florida beats OSU by less than six and the game is a pathetic and turnover-filled snorefest (say, 14-10), #4 LSU might leapfrog both OSU and Florida. It's a slim chance (less than 10%) but I think it could still happen. LSU thumping Notre Dame by 20-30 was part of the scenario I envisioned; 27 is good enough. With Michigan's loss, LSU should finish no worse than third or else "they wuz robbed"!

Being from the Great State of Louisiana it was an awsome Football Game and the Notre Dame Fighting Irish didn't put up much of a Fight !!LMAO!!! Notre Dame is the most overated Football team in Collage Sports!!!! they are always rated at the top ofthe polls and end up at the bottom of the Bowls!!!Lsu was the best team in collage football this year even with two losses! If they were to play Florida again or Ohio State for the Championship they would win no doubt. But the Irish Please no Chance thats what you got!

Paid to Keep it close in the first ???? Paid come on the Irish where in the game until the Picks came and the bad decision by Brady Quinn who you say is over hyped see what you say when he goes pro next year and watch his transition in to the NFL and then tell me he over Hyped

For me it wasn't. I wish it could have been, but at halftime I turned off the game because I couldn't stand the Fox broadcast, the unrelentingly loud and obnoxious and imbecilic commercials, and Kenny Albert's awful voice.
