i thought was a nice host & had cool shows.
i always thought he was kind of goofy though.
i hope hes in heaven.

He seemed like a nice guy,great show,but you have to admit that he was reckless !! I remember saying every time I watched that show,"That SOB is crazy" !!

Apparently he did a lot of good...which came to light after he died.
But really ...he must have thought he was invincible ,jumping on a sting ray is just plainly stupid. If he had jumped on me like that I would have punched his lights out.
Also his showmanship was over the top...Made Aussies look like a bunch of Dickheads.
Now they are using his daughter to fill the bank role...hope she has been given time for mourning and reflection or she will head for a breakdown.Hope he can't jump on us from up above.

Steve was crazy, and it was just a matter of time..........but I thought he was cool and I was really sad when he died. I think he brought a lot of awareness about nature to the world and did a load of good. Yes I believe he is in heaven, and I will be happy to meet him some day. Oh, and I love his accent.

He was really great to watch, he could get you interested in anything he was talking about! I'm glad they destroyed that tape of him passing...it will make things so much easier for his family.

I also thought he was "goofy", but dedicated. I think he was genuinely interested in what he was doing even if he was primarily a showman.
