"The Da Vinci Code" or "Angels and Demons"?

Question

Wich book did you like better, and why? For those who haven't read both of them, what did you think about the one you read?
Which female character did you like more, Sophie or Vittoria?

p.s And another question, wich do you think that happened first?

I'm intrested about others oppinions, so tell me everything you think at the moment.

Angels & Demons is the first book, and a far better one in my opinion. I thought the storyline was much more exciting, though The Da Vinci Code was more thought provoking. In general, I like Dan Brown's style of writing, as it tends to keep the plot moving. I don't know which female character I like best. Both are strong women and I like that about both.

Angels and demons came first. But like a lot of people i read Da vinci first. I liked Vittoria better. but i liked both books a lot. the make me stop a really consider religion more. I was a non-religious person be for i read these books.

Angels and Demons is much better. It was a better story and more interesting. There are references to things in Angels and Demons in The Da Vinci Code making it obvious that A&D happened first. I don't remember too much about the women except that the relationships were thrown in at the last minute.

They are very similar in the plot, set up, intrigue, culmination, etc...You can see that Dan Brown is fine tuning his writing and the result was the, in my opinion, better written and developed Da Vinci.

Angels and Demons took place first in the time line, but not so noticeably so that it will be difficult for them to alter when they make it into a movie.

There both good, but Angels & Deamons gets my vote as the twist a the end was surprising, with The Da Vinci Code i saw it comming half way through the book.

I like Vittoria better, she's ......................i don't know, i just like her better.

I liked Angels & Demons better. But I will suggest if you like the two books you check out the Third Secret by Steve Barry. It is even better!!
