i just usually jump right in. If my toes get cold by testing it, chances are i'm not going in. Why suffer like that? Just go for it!

I jump in. . .I'm used to swimming in Lake Superior. No pool is nearly as cold :)

You gotta just go for it, jump right in, if its cold you'll get used to it as soon as your head comes up out from under the water....

I like you attitude, but I test the water because I like to know what to prepare for and I really don't want to go in if it's cold. Cold is a fun killer for me. I like things hot!

I do with my left big toe. I can balance better using my right leg. If I used my right big toe I'd probly wobble then fall in.
