I.T.I with any trade after Madhyamik is not equivalant to 10+2. But in job palacement you are given skilled category and the pay scales of that category is different and there is another chances of promotions after getting experinces.

No they are not equivalent though if you wanna do engineering after your ITI diploma then you get an advantage of joining engineering college directly as second year student but then it is very very difficult as seats are less and competition is tough, besides if you dont get into engineering you are good for nothing, as to take up higher education you have to do 11th and 12th that means you'll be wasting extra two years.
