I would say have a light lunch including some fruit but no alcohol. Also try to get out in the air for a walk even if just for ten minutes or so. I'm guessing you work indoors and most offices etc have central heating too hot or air conditioning which dries the air. Keep a drink of water or juice to sip during the afternoon too. If all else fails and you don't have a weight problem CHOCOLATE!! Our bodies need a nap around lunch time so we should really follow the Europeans and have a short siesta.

Honestly I would drink a Red Bull. But that's just me, another way is to not eat such a huge lunch, eating a big lunch makes you tired. And also try not to sit still as much, get up and move around.

Eating a lighter lunch helps, also try taking a walk if you can during your lunch break. Also, stay hydrated by drinking water rather than coffee.

Eat a lunch that is healthy and not full of fat and grease and when you do feel groggy get up and stretch, maybe take a 5 minute break and walk up and down a couple flights of stairs.

Limit your carbs at lunch and stick to high protein foods. When you eat a meal in carbs it turns directly into glucose which causes a big spike in your blood sugar and then there is a sudden drop in your blood sugar which is why you feel sluggish.

Perhaps you are not getting enough restful sleep at night. By lunch time you are already feeling tired.

Don't drink alcohol at lunch and try eating less. Also, go to bed earlier.
Maybe get another job if that one's too boring?
