I am 48 and I am hooked. I heard that it wasn't doing well in the ratings and may be cancelled. Is this true, do you know?

It was a good show that had a little something for young adults and for us, the next generation, wouldn't you agree? Here's an entertainment report:
Struggling Fox drama and syndicated talk show both get the axe
Life in the O.C. has come to an end.
The struggling Josh Schwartz drama's last episode will air on February 22, bringing an abrupt end to a series which enjoyed a meteoric rise in viewership when it launched, only to suck largely storywise in Season 2, never to recover.
On the talk show front, Megan Mullally's syndicated series, The Megan Mullally Show has ceased production after only six months on the air. Repeats of the program will air through January.
Last July, the former Will & Grace star said she was excited about her new series, and had big plans for reinventing the genre.
Guess they didn't work.

I used to like it. I watched the first two seasons religiously. Then they tried to get too edgy and it got lame. I haven't watched any of the new season, but the fact that they had Ryan go into cage fighting seems fxcking ridiculous. They really killed a great show.

I like the show too but haven't heard anything about it being cancelled. I still can't believe they killed Marissa off though.

No, I live around where it's portrayed and it's about as accurate as The Beverly Hillbilies.

i think that is true because my dad used to watch it and he said it might be cancelled

I heard today that it is officially dead as of Feb 22.

I did like it.... but wen marrisa and alex broke up i was like wtf.. person cant change that quick so NO i dont watch the OC and they should cancel it there is much better stuff out there...
