I don't think that there is any " unwritten" rule about not reporting, if you are offended by what some one is saying you have every right to report them. This is supposed to be a fun place where people can interact, and its not fair for the people who are "crying out for attention" to ruin it for anyone! Report should you feel necessary. No one should make you feel uncomfortable.

I agree with Sarcasm - we all band together, and never answer any of his questions - kind of like that "buy nothing day" that the anti-corporation people try to get going every year.

I had simply asked if "anyone had gotten socks for Christmas" and it was reported and erased. I got socks every year for ten years as a kid and now miss it. If someone was offended by that, then they need serious help.
