i remember watching this film when i was younger its from the 80's or 90's i think.

It had a bunch of kids in it all boys i think one of them had a brother who liked cricket but died and his parents they kept all his trophies in a cabinet along with a cricket ball signed by babe ruth which was hes.

his little brother took the cricket ball out the cabinet to play with his friends and it went over a garden fence which had a massive dog in it and the lads have to come with ways to get the cricket ball back, its a funny film and i think its got sean astin in it.

can any one help me with this much appreciate it.

Yea to Sandlot... one of the best of my childhood movies.

I think I will watch it tonight! As perviously mentioned don't watch any other remake or sequel, they are doomed compared to the ultimate original sandlot.

That movie sounds like The Sandlot. The one I'm thinking about is not about cricket but baseball, it does have a ball signed by babe ruth and it goes over a fence with a huge dog behind it

I think you are referring to the movie the Sandlot, it was about baseball, not cricket, at least here in the US, and the ball in this movie was a Babe Ruth ball but it belonged to the kids step-dad and the kid was clueless as to who Babe Ruth was so he used it and then they had to get it back, it was a really cute movie. Hope this helps. :-)

I think you're thinking of Sandlot, that's what it sounds like, but it wasn't a cricket ball signed by babe ruth, it was a baseball signed by babe ruth.

It is Sandlot. The ball was signed for the step-father. It was a great movie. Thank you.
