there are lots of girls with short tempers too.
Sometimes it is better not to wonder why people act how they do, but rather to just try and find people who act well towards u and treat u right where u don't need to know why the act a certain way

I personally think its because they lie a lot. Then when you ask them simple questions they get short tempered to cover their lies.
