I am having a party for my husband and we need some good music. We like most music from the 80s and pretty much anything that gets people up. Floor fillers needed please

Thanks

For the best selection of feel-good 80s tunes with just the right amount of cheese, I HIGHLY recommend this box set of 7 CDs called "Like, Omigod! The 80s Pop Culture Box (Totally)." Here is the link to it on amazon: http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/B000068ZVP/24680e-20

It's FABULOUS! 142 songs, 49 of them #1 hits, and it comes with a very cool book.

Hope it helps!

Here's some track of my personal "Party Mix"

Whitesnake - Here I go again
Journey - Don't Stop Beleiveing
Journey - Any Way You Want It
Steve Miller Band - The Joker
Def Lepoard - Pour Some Sugar On Me
Lynyrd Skynyrd - Sweet Home Alabama
Warren Zevon - Werewolves of London

Frankly there are songs on here that I cannot stand, but they get the party going.

I must say I a country girl so I listen to country music mostly.I love to "party" with my husband with romantic music.I like Billy Currington's song " Why,why, why" and "must be doing something right". Both so good.I also like Shaina Twain's whole CD.Cary Underwood's Cd.All so good.
There are times which we have a variety he chooses a CD or two and I choose we take turns. So if you want to know, on that party day for him...include him in the choice of songs I think he will like it and you will know more of what he likes to have fun with. Most people like to have fun to their favorite style of music or favorite songs.
or you can get a CD with 80's most popular hits to start it off with or have your friends bring in some ideas or Cd's in the mix.Makes things more interesting.
Hope I helped.
