I was spotting 2 times(brownish) after my last month period that ended on Dec 16th. I thought that was weird as that never happen before and more weird because i am on the pill and never missed any pills . My period is a 6 days away for this month but decided to do a pregnancy test this morning anyway knowing it might be to early. I took a shower and looked at the test afterwards and there was an extremely faint light positive line.I think it was before 10 min i really don't know, I do have unprotected sex with my husband all the time so i wont know when this could have happened but i am kinda shock cos i am on the pill. which test is the best out there ?i think i used accuclear, but maybe u know of really good test. I have been a little more tired then usual and had constipation for a few days but other than that i feel perfectly fine , can i stay on the pill till i found out if i am pregnant or not ? Thanks for the advise i appreciate it and happy new years

never had problems with my pill before and been on it for over a year, not been on any kind of stress, and last check up with my doctor was in august and everything is OK.

I got pregnant on the pill. I used it religiously. Took it at the same time everyday and NEVER missed one. Now I have a beautiful 18 month old little girl to show for that. I would suggest you call the doctor and ask for a blood test. Those are more accurate. Also.. ask the doctor about the pill while pregnant or while waiting for the results. My daughter was fine but I don't know what kind of birth control you are on or if it is safer that way. Good luck

i got pregnant on the pill although i did miss a couple here and there. All the tests are supposed to be the same, but some of the more popular ones are ept and first response. A faint line is considered a positive, you are probably really early pregnant. I would cal your dr to see what he says or retest, esp if you dont know if it wa after 10 minutes. I was always advised to continue taking the pill until you know for sure that you are pregnant because if you arent and stop then you can get pregnant and if you arent trying then obviously you dont want that. I got pregnant on the pill...it does happen! If the test said positive, they r usually accurate, no matter what brand it is.

well it might be really early pregnancy.... it is possible to get pregnant on the pill since its not 100%. i say stop taking the pill in case you are and test again asap.

well the first thing you do is not take any more birth control pills before you know for sure. some medications can affect the BC pills and make them not work.
