It doesn't help. Most people add on tasks so that they don't have to face what is really bothering them.

Sometimes you have to add responsibilities for others even though you may not really feel like doing them. For example...I am a mom of 4....do I really feel like attending every baseball game, football game, wrestling match, piano recital, dance class...etc...not really. I do it for my kids, because they want me there and it makes them happy. I am adding responsibilites that I don't need to survive but need for other reasons.
There are alot of other reasons people keep adding more responsibilities to their lives. For personal growth, for others..etc. As far as it helping the situation....while I am exhausted the payoff is more than worth it! It helps in more ways that I can express...inside!

your right...people complain about not having enough time and then book their schedules solid. It can be one of 2 things...1 some people love to be busy because when they have free time they dont know what to do with it...these are not usually the complainers or 2 people just like to complain regarless...maybe for attention, who knows

It's not lack of time it's more like lack of organizing---if you sit and plan out how to get everything done with the time you have---multi-tasking is a great thing

Good question.

If the days were 30 hours long, we would still overload them with to-dos. Sorry, this is all I have time to write. Gotta go!

I don't have time for this . . . :o) j/k

Some people are just over-achievers and don't want to let the reality in . . . other people stay busy to keep their minds off other things . . . and yet others thrive under stress and love to stay busy.
