If you look at Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs you will soon see how Enlightenment changed the lives of the majority. As people developed new products and greater income, they started to employ others to help them with their work. The more people who were making money and learning, the quicker the enlightenment era grew.

This meant that many people who never learned how to read or had time to enjoy art started to experience both. As more people understood and wanted both, more artists and writers expanded their work.

Take care,
Troy
