Yes , it was awesome I was heading west on C-470 at about 6:19 when I saw it over the hogback. I heard on the news that it was actually an old Russian rocket burning up. Denver channel 7 traffic helicopter caught it on tape.

I WISH I had seen it! It was the body of a rocket returning to earth and apparently there were lots of calls to the police and TV stations about it.

Yeah, on t.v. And, it wasn't actually a 'meteor' shower as such. Some Russian satelitte broke apart and it entered Earth's atmosphere in the Rocky area. Word is, part of it was found, landed in Wyoming.
