Read the terms and conditions in the contract. At best you can tell them you want to end your contract and you may have to pay the next full month, at worst......it's the rest of the year contract you have to fork out for.
Too lazy to use the gym, too lazy to read your own contract and see what the terms on it are. Tut tut

I'm doing the same thing, paying and not using, if ya been there longer than a year, you have to write to the gen manager asking to cancel ur membership -thats how fitness 1st works anyway

As above you cant just stop paying if your contract has not expired.
You could advertise it for sale though, most gyms have a joining fee, so people will often offer to take over membership so they dont have to pay the joining fee.

only if your contract has expired check what you have to do at club
best thing go to your local council leisure center and just pay as you go

no i did
and i was going to get a ccj, so i am now having to start using it again, as you will have signed a 12 mth contract they will hold you to it as it is legally binding
