I use to tell my children that I had taken school courses that I had not taken. I wasn't very well educated from having been an army brat and moving all over and missing too much overall in school. But, both of my children were like BRILLIANT and were being raised in a better way than I was, so, they were outstanding students, top of their classes, honor society types. I lied about my education and gave my children the impression that they had to scramble to keep up with my brains, so to say. It was meant to motivate them. Worked. After they were grown up, I snuck away and got an education and I don't have to lie about it anymore.

You are the best. I love you. Your so pretty. No I would never lie to you. You don't look fat at all I love the way you look. Anything so you don't start a fight and make them feel good till you find someone else different/better.

Back years ago when I was in college, I had this workstudy job that I hated. This was upper Michigan and we had this insane snowstorm. I didn't want to trek across campus to this place so I called and cried on the phone telling them my older sister just called me and told me she was HIV positive and that I couldn't make it in. I don't even have an older sister.
That was pretty fuked up but you do dumb shite when you're young. But HIV??? That was alittle overboard, I think.
