You can buy what is called a signal booster. You can set it up in a central part of your house and it should increase the signal to other non working parts of your house. They can be bought at Best Buy or Circuit City and are not too expensive.

You will need a WIFI Signal Booster!
These items amplify the effective signal/range coverage. These devices usually don't require connection by a data cable. Just place one within range of your wireless router and it will bounce the signals off remote wireless devices. Perfect for any wireless home or business network that requires wider coverage: Multi-story homes, warehouses, outdoor spaces etc.
The distance that you an effectively reach out to, using a wireless internet connection will vary from house to house. Such factors include the size of your property, thickness of walls, where you are working in relation to the location of the Wireless Router etc... or perhaps you live in a castle (joke) ;)
An example of such a device can be found in the Amazon link that I provide below, they are very simple to install.
Alternatively, you might want to buy a more powerful Wireless Router (one that incorporates 2 Antenna)?
I hope this helps.

Unfortunately, in many older houses, there are building materials that are simply "radio suppressant" in nature. You've probably noticed that in one spot the signal is excellent and two feet away it's for crap. You're best bet is to figure out where in the house you use the net the most and try to better centralize the location of your wireless transmitter. Then if this don't help enough you'll just have to spend the money on a signal booster.

The antennas that come with wireless routers are the bare minimum to transmit a signal to the range they claim in open space. Replace your antenna with a high gain model.
