Sweetie, you are far from lame. It sounds like you have some self-respect and values.
I'm 36. . .and things were rather different when I was 20. . .but there was still pressure.
Basically. . .hold onto what you believe in. To me, sex is something to be shared with someone who I feel a deep connection to. . .it is not something to be handed-out or given away lightly. It's a two-way gift. . .now who sounds old-fashioned? lol. . .
Keep having fun. . .in the way that you're comfortable with and forget what everyone else is doing.
Oh. . .and be careful for those out there who will try to get what they want regardless of how you feel.

You are right for sticking by what you believe, sex is not a game and the ones who think it is will pay the price down the road and will have to answer to God. Sex is something that should be shared with someone you love. It's ok to have fun and flirt, but kids now a days are treating it like it's nothing. That's why there are so many kids having kids and so many diseases.

seems such as you're dealing with what i went with the aid of a protracted time in the past. I felt after 1975 just about all music went downhill. The 60's wete great. television exhibits have been all good. in recent times everybody is only focused on seems. You dont desire expertise. If a woman has huge boobs and extremely skinny physique thats all that concerns and if she cant sing you only turn the quantity down. Disco got here out and that i hated that. Then punk and that i hated that much greater. Then rap crap got here out and that i jated that the greater serious. I only purchase cds and hear my 50's, 60's and mid 70's music. i purchase dvds ordinarily older movies that made experience and had a plot. Singers and actors as quickly as had a element referred to as expertise. in recent times expertise is out the window and seems are in.

Everyone likes taking a risk. It is exciting and gets the adrennaline going.
Unfortunately, in the back alleys of life, what is one minute exciting, can turn up craps or snake eyes in a hurry (HIV, Hep C, Herpes, etc.)
Find someone who knows that good sex w/ 1 partner 200 times a year is just as good as sex with an average of being good (some better & some worse) w/ 200 partners in a year.

Sex should not be treated like a game, it should only be shared between two people who love each other very very much and have a serious commitment to each other for life. Actually, it's very sad that some people treat it as a game. Call me old cow but i believe this.

It does seem like sex is a gamewith people today. I personally dont think sex is a game. It is a thing not to be taken advantage of. Too many young people think that it is this big game of who can sleep with the most people. It seems to be starting younger and younger.

I know what you mean. Today's generation seems to be devoid of values. Even today's songs aren't 'love songs; they are sex songs. I have "Babe" and "I Need Love"; you have "Hot In Herre". Why can't people learn from the mistakes of others? Why gravitate to the bad behavior? It's nonesense.
Kids are allowed to shake up in their parents house. I just can't over that. I had a coworker doing that. That's nuts. I wouldn't want my parens to know when I'm having sex even if I were married and staying with them for a few days.
I wonder what will happen with the next generation.

If you feel sex shouldn't be treated as a game, you shouldn't play right into it. As a self-described "flirting machine", you quite possibly could be leading others on and having them believe you are either a tease or something much worse.
However, there are many kids these days who do treat sex as a game. It's very sad. Like the whole thing with the wrist bands or colored lip gloss. Gross.
I never treated sex as a game, personally. (I'm 25)
(p.s. men can be considered teases or tramps, too. Maybe they just aren't as affected by it as women?)

Actually the study that came out last week or so said that something like 70% of all people dating back to the 1940s had premarrital sex. It isn't just your generation...mine was the same and look at the 80's, 70s all rampant sex cultures.

It's all fun and games till someone loses their winky!
Seriously, It's not a game. It's nice to hear there are a few younger people who still have values.
