I am almost 11 wks pregnant and find that all I can think about is taking off the baby weight. I know this is a happy time and I shouldn't be thinking about it but i can already see the weight adding to my frame and I am not worried about how big I am when I have the baby just how long it will take to come off. I am thinking about doing Nutrisystem right after but not sure if this would be bad. I know that I need to intake atleast 1500 calories when breastfeeding and with this diet you will have enough calories. Has anyone tried it or have an info, it would be very helpful.

xoxo

Congratulations on your pregnancy. After your baby is born, you will lose quite a bit of the weight. Worry about that then.

Since you plan to breastfeed, I hope you discuss with your doctor about using Nutrisystem products or any other synthetic food replacements. Usually a good balanced diet is necessary for you and your baby's health. Good luck with your pregnancy and just enjoy planning for the little one for now.

I'm not sure about Nutrisystem, but Weight Watchers has a program for pregnant and nursing women. I would contact Nutrisystem and ask them. Breastfeeding will help you lose weight very quickly, so you might not need anything like Nutrisystem until the baby is weaned to help you manage your weight. Congratulations!

Don't worry!

I gained 34 lbs during pregnancy, but lost 30 of them after giving birth. That only left me with 4 lbs to lose!

The best thing to do is eat properly NOW. Don't binge or have the attitude of "I'm pregnant, so I can eat whatever whenever I want." You fetal child only needs about 200 calories a day. That's an 8-ounce glass of milk!

Also, be sure to exercise. Walk, low/no impact cardio, even light weight training (3 or 5 lb dumbbells max) is fine unless your Dr says otherwise. No ab exercises, though!

Enjoy your pregnancy and try to forget what you might look like in 7 months time
Eat healthily and get regular excersise thats both good for you and the baby
Once you've had the baby - you'll notice the weight fall off - particulalrly if you are a 1st time mum - you'll spend so much time running around after your baby it'll drop off
