Does anyone think this could be possible. If so, would it be fruitful?

Not likely in the short-term and not likely fruitful. What was the last college head coach that went to the pro's and had success?

Here are a list of some of the ones that did not have success:
Nick Saban
Steve Spurrier
Butch Davis

All of those were NCAA champion coaches and all bombed out at the Pro level. I think the pro game is different enough that it goes better with a coach that has grown up through the pro ranks than one that has run a college program.

With Bill Parcells, anything is possible. As to whether or not, it would be a good fit, don't think it is right this minute. Coaching in the college ranks is one thing, coaching in the National Football League is another! Not too keen on the idea that he is ready to lead highly paid professionals quite yet. If his team returns to prominence next year, and make it to the title game without having to beg for help from the media, then we can revisit this. Until then, remember Parcells has not said whether or not he will be there next year, but J. Jones did say he will do what it takes to bring him back. With a big draft, that team could put the final pieces together to make a Super Bowl run.

parcells will be around one more year then dallas will get tennessee's jeff fisher. he's the perfect guy for the job.

parcells has done a horrible job but this year he'll stay but defensive coordinator mike zimmer is toast-rightfully so.
