She has been to the doctor, and he said she is fine, that it must be dietary. She hasn't had anything dark for 5-6 days. She was on amoxicillan, which gave her a yeast infection, but he says that has nothing to do with it. She is 6 months old.

I don't know about the tongue, but when I suspected my baby had too much Iron, her poop was literally dark green to almost black. I was scared to death! I thought she was sick. Since I switched her to Low Iron by Similac, she has had normal bowel movements, less irritability and less stomach cramping. She's been on it for a week now.

As far as the tongue goes, how old is the baby? Is he/she on solids?
