What my cousin did is that she charged her iPod using the computer...

You could go out and buy a 110v "transformer" so that it convert the current voltage [its 220v here in the Philippines. Plug in almost anything thats from the US. Its fried] to 110v so you can use your iPod charger~

But.. you could check if the ipod charger can be plugged into 220v. Look around the device [or box?] until you find something that says "Input". If it says 110v, use the comp or get a transformer. if it says 110v~220v, its pretty much safe~

i'm going to have to assume that you're from the US, in which case your power adapter *will* work in the philippines. if you only have the usb/firewire cable, it won't matter -- just plug it into any working computer and charge away!

but as with any electronic device, don't plug your charger directly into the wall. this is almost an unspoken rule in the philippines, where power fluctuations can happen quite often.

you may opt to charge through your computer, otherwise, know that the philippines normally uses 220v power outlets so be prepared.

Use a 110V AC adapter, available at any travel store.
