My fireplace has a marble hearth. After using the fireplace (natural wood burning) I vacuum the debris and then spray directly on hearth with a product called Gel-Gloss (follow directions) which is a one step cleaner and polish for fiberglass, marble and acrylic. The marble really glows. I buy it at Walmart.
