i got my friend a plaque for her 21st which read
congratulations
on your
21st
birthday
(her name)
( the date she was 21)
lots of love
( my name)
xxxx
it's something different that she can keep and i got it out of a shop that sells trophys etc and it was only £17 other than that how about a photo album with pictures of what you have done and a bit telling you about that time, you could always leave some pages empty for her to fill in herself of things that you might do together later on in life it doesn't all have to be filled in right this minute

I bought my best friend earrings for her 21st.

All my other presents to her have been meaningful ones like films we watch over and over together or a mix cd with recordings of me introducing each track and saying its relevance to us. The occasional "because you're you" cuddly toy also went down well.

She once took the effort to make a collage of photos for me, in an A4 frame. Most of the photos were the 2 of us. These pictures were mixed in with phrases that remind me of certain good times we have together. In the middle of the piece, she stuck a paragraph saying how much I mean to her and how we'll always be closer to eachother than anyone else.

Your collage could be photos of times you, her ad all your mutual friends have been together. Get it in a nice frame and she'll think it's the best present possible - my friend got 1 from her friend for her 21st and she loved it!!! She said it was the best present that year for her. If only I'd have thought of that before the diamond earrings! (Kidding, she loved the earrings too!) Hehe!

Get her a nice gift set a LUSH. Their gift sets are not expensive and the quality is great.

Or if you don't like any of the things they have just buy her a bottle of liquor, like Vodka or Rum.

gift cards are always nice, but since she's turning 21 i'd wrap up a bottle of Liquor (Bacardi or Parrot Bay)

Shoes are always nice, or some Victorias Secret.
