Because we will never get rid of racism until we can get rid of groups like the NAACP. We have the United ***** College Fund, Black History Month, even BET and Black Family Entertainment Network and the list goes on and on. Until the blacks in America can stop relying on organizations geared strictly towards them, we really won't be without racism. The NAACP has to get caught up in everythring claiming there isn't enough love for the black man, when the white man isn't even allowed to have the United Caucasion College Fund, White History Month, WET, or White Family Entertainment Network, etc. If we tried to have these organizations, the NAACP would step in and say it isn't fair. Come on black people, life isn't fair. Stop hiding behind the darkness of your skin and joining the human race!

Well, if there was a National Association for the Advancement of Whitey, someone would put down the white folks. There's nothing wrong with Blacks that not teaching them that they're oppressed wouldn't cure and the NAACP reinforces that they can't get ahead without someone rooting for them. Blacks keep saying their just like everybody else and then say they're oppressed. So are we all oppressed? And if so, where is my NAAW? If we're all alike, why do they need the NAACP? If you take a child at birth and teach him that the sky is green, he's going to grow up believing that. It's the same principle.
Besides, I didn't think Blacks liked being called "colored."

I put them down because they cause more problems than they solve. They scream racism when there is none and the black person just didn't have the merits to get a job or into a school. They preach the victim role and entitlement instead of doing for oneself and hard work. They ignore the cause of the problems plaguing black society such as drop out rates, responsible father/motherhood, civic pride(besides screaming what neighborhood you are from) , drug use, gaining proper skills for a job interview etc. When they concentrate on fixing problems instead of perpetuating them then maybe they will get some respect. They could also change their mouth pieces, nobody takes Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton seriously anymore,

I'm going to say this and then i'm done - Why in the hell do they only show their faces when there's some big story for them to get national attention?

I don't see the NAACP in the hoods talking to the inner city kids so they won't grow up to be criminals. I don't see them helping the homeless or doing anything unless its some big news story.

The NAACP is a liberal organization dedicated to its continued existence, and that means that it must maintain a base of unhappy, disgruntled members who are dependent upon it. Hence, true advancement of the interests of "colored people" is not really on their agenda. If it was, it would make education its central objective, and it has not done that.

Because it is a racist narcissistic organization that cloisters it self away from the real problems that black people are facing. They see problems where none exist and will not open their eyes to any problems in the black cultural that cause black people real troubles. They are a defunct group that brings nothing to the national debate about race relations.
That is why I put them down.

because it's thier way.
they have to demonize everything we do.
trying discredits us,

if you don't see what the NAACP is doing in your urban neighborhood, then your not paying attention.

they can't fix everything, and if you don't see them in your hood why don't you join them and help bring the message to your hood

YOUR EITHER APART OF THE SOLUTION
OR
APART OF THE PROBLEM

If you notice most organizations start out with good intentions. When they have solved the problem they set out to solve, the good people leave. The NAAPC has turned into a raciest group just like the KKK.They started out with good intentions too. .
