Deserve forgiveness? He ranks right up there with Hitler! Instead of asking us if we believe he deserves forgiveness, why dont you ask the families of the bodies in the mass graves found all over Iraq. Ask the fathers of the babies born with severe deformities because of his chemical weapons. Ask the families with missing loved ones who will never know what happened to them. Think about that a little bit then decide if you really want to ask that question.

When he was a baby, toddler, young child......I bet his paln wasnt to kill people. He just got in with a lethal crowd...and his parents didnt teach him kindness enough to say no to the attrocities he performed or was done in his name. Any serial killer could claim the same though. Do you feel all of those should have forgiveness too? If so, why?
You forgive people that fall out of love with you or cheat (because they didnt know how to say goodbye beforehand). You forgive people that accidentallly hurt you directly or INDIRECTLY....malice a forethought is another matter...its planned and carried out...thats the difference.

as a Christian, i must forgive him as the bible says. as a human, i cannot. Jesus knows and understands that. he can forgive enough for the world and i am so grateful because i cannot forgive him. he does not deserve it from me. he is responsible for the deaths of many innocent people. i did not hear of him showing any mercy to any of them. i thank God for having the power to forgive when i can not.

I think saddam deserved a more painful death. He thought he was all that but then he was killed like a pathetic petty thief. Id like to know what he was fighting for when he was incharge because no one seems to know.

Yes because he did not make crimes that deserve death penalty from his people point of view and not from the Israelis and the enemies of Arabs and Muslims.

If he were alive to apologize for the murders and pain he's caused and if he voluntarily spent the rest of his life in prison to show his remorse, then yes.

No, but his trial never should have been held in Iraq. That trial and execution made a mockery of the justice system. Just my opinion.
