You want a name that attracts people of different ages, so it can't be too cheesey but it still should be catchy.

Find descriptive words that have to do with dancing and then make sure somewhere in the name is Studio, Dance Center, etc. so when people see it, they know exactly what it is.

How old are you? There are plenty of Co-Ed, but it varies but age. We are at the student level, StarStruck A.D.A. (Cincinnati). 4 boys this year (All seniors) and 1 little boy (instructors son). Last year we had a boy graduate. Oh ok, well maybe put up fliers for your studio, welcoming the boys. If you really want to move, you have to convince your parents!

Ooh, I like "Hips and Salsa."

Seriously though, think of the coolest, trendiest places around you that lots of hipsters go to. Are they called obvious things like "Joe's Pizza?" No .... they're callled, like, "2114" for the street address, or "Sweet" for the cupcake place ... see what I mean? You want to be understated.

How about "Steps?"
or "Beat?"
You could just tack "dance studio" on the end.

I totally agree that you shouldn't be cheezy -- you should stay as far away from cheezy as possible to get away from the "65-year-old creepy dude who takes this way too seriously" image.

I just also think that you need to be a bit minimalist about it.
