Take away the officiating in the Auborn game and there would probably be an LSU-OSU National champ game. I think the Tigers would beat them by at least 14. *Florida beating LSU was a fluke.

Please, there is no way LSU would beat Ohio State

This is the reason why college football really needs a playoff. The best team at the end of the season is not necessarily an undefeated team. LSU and USC both would give Ohio State a great game and in a playoff they would have advanced to the next round. Who has Ohio State really beat? A texas team that was never as good as advertised and a Michigan team that was good but never great.

I still probably would favor OSU but would like to see a playoff to know for sure. If you look at NFL the best record team doesn't always win the superbowl.

Notre Dame is no measuring stick for a team like LSU. They would give OSU a good game, and despite what some others think, so will Florida (sure as hell a lot better than Michigan would have, given the asskicking they took from USC).

LSU will probably end up #2 or #3.

LSU-OSU would be a good game. LSU is my team and I HATE the Big 10, who actually has 11 teams. Somebody needs to teach them how to count. I hope that Florida can pull it out and beat Ohio State. Go SEC

I watched that game and yes the best job in football is being an official, man you have the power to throw any game you want and for what ever reason and yes they would kick OSU butt by at least 14

In the Florida game LSU beat themselves, so in that respect it was a fluke

It would be tough to deterimine this. The Big Ten is built on power. If you notice, the Big Ten has big bruising backs so typically, defenses are built to defend the run. LSU was built on speed. Now, You would think that speed beats power, but with OSU, they have some pretty quick players as well. I would give LSU a fighting chance, but overall, OSU would win by at least 7 points.

Wow. At least you're not a homer (heavy on the sarcasm). What a dumb question. I shouldn't have even answered this, but it's such a retarded question I can't help myself.

Let me get this right: You're saying LSU would "pound" OSU? And on top of that you're putting a "what if" scenario in there. Good God dude. Try being a fan of the game and not just a fan of your team so your ignorant comments don't fly out like this. No need for stats. Records. Pointing out players. I won't put anything because you showed nothing but how little you know about football.

Fla/LSU was a fluke. They handled them!

LSU is good, but just because they beat Notre Dame by a descent number of points doesn't mean they could cream OSU. Notre Dame has only won against mediocre teams this year. Their record makes them look better than they are. And if you look at the record of Big Ten teams versus SEC teams in bowl games this year. The Big Ten is thumping the SEC.

LSU is good. But they would get beaten by OSU just like Florida will.

purely because of the fact it became an intensive interest dont confirm the USC interest. look. Navys offense is easily diverse that USC's. Ohio St. couldnt cease the bypass decision and then they might sneek in a huge bypass play right here and there. USC dont have a run decision offense, so the sport would be thoroughly diverse -Bama Grad: You never be attentive to, that decision is confusing then they sneak in a bypass which you does not assume for a huge benefit. Florida might of guy dealt with them yet Florida is packed crammed with SR's and monster gamers, OSU is a VERRY youthful group.

I guess we'll know after the Fla/OSU game exactly how far off base your question is :) You might get proven right.

The sec isn't doing as well and the big 10 isn't doing as badly as I predicted. So that question feels pretty hard to answer.

There really honestly isn't a team in the country that is on the same level as Ohio St this year...as much as it pains me to say that...I still maintain that USC would've given them the best game out of anyone.

By the way, I am sick and tired of morons trying to predict the outcome of a game and using the conference as an excuse. ie "Florida will beat Ohio St because the SEC is better than the Big Ten!!!111111 LOLROFLLAWLZ" How bout lookin at the teams for once?
