you should start to see your gyno either when you have your period and you think there may be a problem with it, or when you become sexually active. defiantly when you become sexually active.

As soon as she starts her period just for a basic check and every other year after that to become comfortable with seeing a gyn. If there is a problem before then she should go. Also at 18 she should start her yearly visits and paps. Really it is nice for girls to go at a young age so if something happens to them or changes then she wouldn't be afraid to tell what is going on. I wish I would have started going at 13 when I started my period because I didn't find out I had a reproductive disorder until my husband and I had been trying to get pregnant for 3 1/2 years. I could have found the disease earlier and took the right meds. Now almost 5 years after marriage and medical therapy we are finally expecting our first child.

A young woman should begin her yearly gynecological visits when she turns eighteen. If she comes from a family with a history of ovarian cancer or other uterine issues then she may want to see a gynecologist around age 16 just for a basic check up.

We counsel women to see a gynecologist at age 18 or when they become sexually active. Obviously, if she has any presenting problems prior to 18, see she see one then. And, of course, as soon as she becomes sexually active she should be seen regularly, regardless of her age.

Whenever u need to. I think the minimum normal age would be after getting period incase u have period complications etcc. Or maybe b4 periods if u think u have yeast problems like thrush etcc. Fungal infections or bacterial infections that just happen from maybe the change of ph level of the private area.

You should began seeing a Gyn. once you began having a period. At that point your body is maturing and becoming sexually mature (for reproduction) any signs or symptoms may be caught early.

I think the general rule is 18 or whenever you become sexually active-whichever is first-if you notice problems tho, you may want to go sooner....

the age suggested is usually about 18, but if you are having any problems at all, people go in as young as as they want...but if there r no problems, just go in when you're 18

You could ask your doctor. I think probably around 16 or 17 unless you are not feeling well or are sexually active.
