these things are usually run by people in countries where preventing internet scamming is not much of a priority especially as their targets are mostly people from other countries who would not have their governments sympathy anyway
just ignore the stupid spam emails you get

well call the police and tell them about it, let them know what you know thts the only way! make sure they keep your name a secret because if the people(not the police) find out that it was you there could be alot of problems
