stone cold injuries has ruined his body, and he had a problem wit storylines. rock wants 2 be a movie star now, nothing more.

Even though the outcomes are predetermined, wrestling requires an extraordinary amount of strength and skill, and it abuses the crap out of your body. Injuries are quite common. I think Stone Cold's knees are shot. The Rock is moving on to a new phase in his career, making more money doing movies. Though, I heard Stone Cold might be coming back? I don't know. I haven't followed wrestling since the demise of the WCW.

From what I've heard, Stone Cold has knee and back problems, and as such has basically retired from physical roles. He may be back from time to time to help with a storyline, but there haven't been recent discussions on this from the WWE.
The Rock, while he loves to wrestle, has really fallen in love with the idea that he can be a successful Hollywood actor. He should have a new football movie coming out pretty soon. It would have been out earlier, but he tore his Achilles tendon

Before you wrestle WWE has doctors check you out from head to toe, stone cold hasn't been cleared to wrestle anymore he's gotten hurt too many times and its finally taken its toll.
The Rock said after his daughter was born he was going to stop wrestling because he wanted to be there and watch her grow up. He didn't want to be on the road and her at home wondering where he is or have her watching him wrestle if he ever got hurt.

Its the money, man. Rock has done some movies. They like to expand their horizons. The more ventures they get into the more money. Like Rock said on a late night show, he has always wanted to do movies. So I guess wrestling was not his forte.

Rock is making more money per movie then he would take working 300 dates for wwe, without the body aches and lack of respect that people give wrestlers.

Well, both are persuing their acting carreers (Which is why the Rock is now Dwayne Johnson again) They may be back to do a Wrestlemania appearance, but thats about it.

The Rock is making movies(still entertaining us so quit complaining) and Stone Cold...he just...left. He got hurt and doesn't really do his job as the managers want it, but hey he brought business. lol

well stone cold would probably die if he went in the ring again his body is a mess, and the rock make's more money doing movies
