The fan attracts a lot of dust.

IS IT SAFE to use a hoover pipe to shift the dust from the fan?

We regularly hoover out ours and using a soft paintbrush dislodge any stubborn dust that won't suck up.

it alot better if you blow it off, but yeah open up the case and clean everything, there are no comonents that air can harm, just make sure you dont hit parts with the hose end. try to get as deep as possible on the proccesors heat sink and the power supply vents.

Put the vacuum nozzle near the fan and brush the fan with a soft brush towards the nozzle.

Yes I do,a lot better than blowing dust around so it can collect again.
