If you try to do too many resolutions at one time, you will probably fail at all of them. Choose the one or two you really want, and forget the others. Then, you can focus your time and energy to sticking to it(them). I write it down. I have it on my mirror, on my computer at work, and anywhere else I look often. I keep it in my mind all day long. Then you also need a plan. If you are going to lose weight, you must plan for it. Get on an eating plan you can live with, not something crazy. Make it your purpose in life until it is accompolished. Good luck~

Only stick to the ones that are the most important to you, like loosing weight or stop smoking. Work on these and worry about all the rest later on after you get the most important ones under control. If you try to do them all at once you will get discouraged and won't be able to keep any of them. Good luck.

Try getting a friend to hold you accountable for your actions (or inactions, as the case may be). If you feel like you need to indulge, talk with your friend about it. Be clear and honest. The first few weeks will probably be the hardest.

It's all about Committment! You have to decide within yourself that you're GOING to do this CONSISTANTLY! Rain, sleet, or snow, you're going to do it. The same way if you're in a relationship you commit yourself to be faithful regardless of rough times...your resolution must have the same dedication from you.
