Nobody really know how he looks like. But I am sure that his hair is not long (it is said in that the bible that girls should be allowed to grow hair and not men, I just can't remember where but its in the New testament). But if symbolism is allowed use so. Answer this: Who is Jesus to You? Is he your savior? Is he your friend? Use symbols like a hero if he is you savior and so on.
God bless you!

When I think of Jesus I think of all the suffering He did for our salvation. I see him fixed to the cross with his head hung low, his hair dripping with rain. The crown of thorns on his head. The background is dark with lashes of lightening. His feet and hands are crucified. Blood can be seen, but is very faint. You can just see the pain and sorrow He felt- you almost feel it your self the picture is so strong. And then add a quote of your own to add a finishing touch.
That's what I think anyway. Hope it brings some ideas to mind.

Jesus was a Jew. So draw what a Jew would look like back then. Obviously he would be dark complected. He also took a Nazarite vow so he had long hair. Draw him smiling and laughing. That is one aspect that nobody wants to think about him. He had to have fun with his disciples.

It sounds to me as if your teacher is looking for you to put a lot of yourself into this assignment. If somebody asked you to quote Jesus, what are the first words that come to your mind (e.g., "God so loved the world . . . ," "I came to seek and save what was lost," "Follow me," "I have a question for you," etc.)?
Once you figure that out, draw a middle eastern man of unspectacular appearance as if he were speaking those words. Maybe you can include them as a caption. Stay away from the depictions of the blond-haired blue-eyed Jesus of the west.

I wish I had this assignment! Draw Him as you see Him. Try checking out the book of Matthew if you'd like a better idea of who He is and His life.

You could either draw him as you see him (yr guide, yr advisor, yr friend, etc.), or draw him as the guy you see in frames/figurines/on the crucifix/whatever sold at religious stores.

think of what he means to you -- comforter, healer, mighty, powerful, etc... draw him as that -or if hes just there as a friend - sitting down having tea and chatting with you -- the inspiration is really your view of who he is

Draw him as a simple man, a figure that you see through your heart and soul.
