Ok the first thing that you have to do is find an agent! With out one you are nothing in tv or cinema! To find an agent it might be easy but to accept you it might be hard...! ANyway... here is a website that you can search for a talent agent: http://www.agentassociation.com Now some things that you need to know about agents: Post them by e-mail or by a letter a small biography of you. Send thema a photo and also the most important tell them if you worked before in a place like that. For example if you wanna be an actor then you need to tell them if you played to any play on a theater or at tv or anything! If theyd don't answer you then they didn't accept you ;p Of course you need to be pacient till your answer. Also note that you NEVER EVER pay an agent with out you get payed! I mean as you get your agent you pay him/her nothing un till he/she finds you a work and you get money from it! When you get your agent gets only 10% from the money. He/she might get 15% of the money if he/she is a manager. Don't forget me when you will be famous!

I've just answered your later question but forgot to mention that you might want to try shadowing or' work experience', which could be hard to take if you are already an established professional. However, then your work could get noticed. Write to tv, film and stage companies, again try Equity, or The Spotlight for names. In my experience many set, and costume and props designers are freelance, however friends have found work on tv through doing short and low budget films for free and then being taken on to do bigger, paid projects.

Get an agent. You're not likely to go anywhere without one.
